The European Heritage Collection is inspired from the finest French and English craftsmanship tradition of the XVIII and XIX century, combining the refined and demanding standards needed to produce masterpieces with a touch of more modern aesthetic trends to suit the contemporary lifestyle of our customers.

Combining the demanding standards of “A Regola D’Arte” and the strict supervision of a true Italian master craftsman, our partner, Encore IHF, produces jewellery quality furniture. Using millenary techniques such as lost wax (“cire perdue”) casting to produce brass accents provides the final touch for such an exclusive range of luxury furniture.

The knowledge acquired over these years of hands-on experience and learning from masters of the past century have gives our Italian classical furniture producers, an extensive knowledge of the different techniques used by his predecessors to build furniture fit for kings and nobility.

All of Encore IHF furniture is produced in a factory where machines are rarely used, skill and hands are the main components. Only the finest raw materials are used in creating these handcrafted masterpieces.

 

 

One of the techniques used to make this timeless furniture is the ancient technique of lost-wax casting that can be used to create beautifully detailed works of art.

Encore was founded by a team with a long history of achievements and success at Theodore Alexander. Stelvio Guglielmi was formerly CEO, David Pemberton major investor and UK distributor, Carlo Zavagno worked for several years as VP Operations. After selling their shareholdings in TA, these friends reunited in 2008 to form Encore, building a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Vietnam, soon joined by an investor from a well-known Italian high-end furniture company.
