Designed for dining spaces where a compact circular table should reveal a more generous presence with precision and elegance, Turning brings together a balanced top, a sculptural steel base and an original opening mechanism. A. Casati gives the movement a clear visual gesture: the table transforms through the rotation of the central surface.

The table starts as a 140 cm circular dining surface. As the central top rotates, the lower extension top emerges and aligns flush with the upper surface, creating a bicircular tabletop measuring 200 cm when extended. This changing silhouette is one of the defining qualities of the round Turning model.

Ceramic surfaces and Italian engineering

The supplied Turning configuration is available with Keramik Stone or Keramik Marble tops, supported by a painted or galvanised steel base. The ceramic surface gives the table a refined mineral character, with durability suited to regular use as well as elegant entertaining.

The ceramic palette is selected for this mechanism rather than open-ended: Turning is available only in the listed ceramic finishings Savoia Perla, Savoia Antracite, Fokos Terra, Absolute White, Absolute Black, Statuario shiny, Arabescato shiny, Calacatta shiny, Gold Marble shiny, Travertino Venato opaco, Pietra Grey shiny, Black Greco shiny, Black Desire shiny and Sahara Noir shiny. Within the available finishes, only selected ceramics allow the upper top to be made from one single ceramic slab; the remaining ceramic options use two carefully matched slabs to preserve a continuous visual effect.

The Turning collection is offered in round and square formats to suit different dining layouts. The round model is distinguished by its original rotating opening mechanism and the elegance of its changing proportions.

Dimensions

The round Turning extendable table starts from a circular top of 140 cm and opens to a bicircular surface of 200 cm, with a height of 75 cm. The square format is specified as 130 x 130 cm closed and 190 x 130 cm when extended. In each case, the extension is integrated into the rotating opening movement, allowing the table to grow while preserving a carefully aligned dining surface.
